This book shows how cool Whiting used to be.All the good Slovaks that were in Whiting are dying off, and trash is moving in instead.No good people move to Whiting anymore.Whiting, IN is a pit now - horrible people moving in the city - druggies, drug dealing, inconsiderate loud people outside all the time.Whiting used to be a good town but the good people move out and no good people want to move there anymore - it is turning into a mini-Gary - they messed up the park and are building all kind of stupid things, like that 119th st entranceway, etc. Dumb.And the mayors of Hammond and Whiting have ruined Whiting, IN and Robertsdale.And the Bishop and priests ruined things by closing all the churches so Cathedral St John is the only church around.Whiting has 50 bars and one church.It used to be the city with the churches - now it is the city with 50 bars, one church, and a bunch of drunks and potheads.Pierogifest ruined Whiting and brings in a lot of trash.I liked when Whiting was the Quiet little city by the lake.They ruined it.All these stupid fests - I liked when Whiting was quiet and considerate----now all you hear is brats screaming outside and mutts barking and people outside your house drinking - 50 people living in a house - I see people picking up drugs in the mailbox next door - walking up the stairs, going in the mailbox, then going back to the car and driving off.Now it is white trash and druggies and gangs in Whiting........... and crime.You have to be careful in Whiting and not go take the garbage out at night anymore, when you used to not have to worry about things like that before.I hate Whiting now.All the good people moved out and no good people move in, just trashy people with 50 people living in one house.I hate it.
