We looked at a lot of beds and reviews before choosing this one. Overall we are pleased and our little princess LOVES it.Ok upsides. It seems very sturdy and doesn’t need a box spring like many similar beds. It’s also very pretty in person. Down sideSIt is Very difficult to put together. It took me several hours.Tip: Is a different person said already ignor the instructions and build the canopy first not last. I followed the instructions and had to take the bed half way apart in order to put the canopy together and place on top of it. I also had to sand parts if the canopy to make them fit together at joints.Also there were spots of pain missing on mine but luckily mostly in spots you can’t seeOver all especially for the price I would recommend people buy this. It seems very sturdy and pretty for the price if you can get it together that is ;)If anyone’s wondering about the canopy her room is under the sea mermaid themed and that’s a jelly fish. Aqua glow light up jelly fish canopy from hearth song. Is very prettyOur daughter loves this bed, as do we. It looks beautiful in her room. We got it a little over two years ago. Thankfully ours didn't come with any problems like some of the other reviewers stated. The bed is painted well and easy to assemble. It came with instructions, please follow them. We didn't follow them at first and we thought there was a mistake with the alignment of the holes. We literally drilled "aligned holes" ourselves and then realized our mistake. Thankfully our mistake doesn't show after proper placement. There was no problem with the bed itself. We moved/traveled across the United states and didn't want to leave this bed behind. It survived the trip, is sturdy after reassembling, and still looks beautiful. At first, we bought box springs with her mattress for on this bed frame. In her new room, we didn't purchase box springs and we realize that it isn't necessary with this bed. It looks nice and is very cozy with or without box springs on this bed frame. After two years and a long move; we know that this bed is easy to clean(use a soft and slightly damp or dry cloth), it can be taken apart and reassembled, instructions are important, it is painted well and doesn't scratch easily for us, and it looks lovely. People can always get a faulty item, but I do wonder if others had problems due to confusion with assembling/or not using instructions. I opened the page for this bed to look for the matching end tables, and I was surprised when I noticed a poor rating for such a lovely bed. So I think it's important for a pleased costumer to leave a review. I'm sure others are very pleased with this bed as well.The bed would be beautiful (just like in the pictures) and sturdy. Unfortunately, our first delivery as well as the replacements were scratched up, the worst scratches being on the pink part that is in the front center. It seemed to be manufacturing issues since the packaging seemed good and undamaged. We had similar issues with a metal car bed we had ordered for our son. Our decision was to stay away from metal beds all together. My suggestion: Save yourself the hassle of returns (oversized delivery - you will have to be home for delivery and pickup) and disappointed children and go with another bed.My daughter absolutely loves her bed! She most definitely feels like a princess! I'm so happy I was able to get this bed for my princess.
