Out of the 3 2nd wave of Cap figures, this one is probably my favorite. Why? It's really a combination of the accessories, sculpt and details that make this figure great.Sculpt, Paint and DetailIt's pretty obvious from the picture that the intent was to create a movie Chris Evans Captain America figure from the upcoming movie and it pretty much nails it. The detail on the figure is fantastic from top to bottom. Little things like his name and the American flag on his left arm, to the star on his chest which has these little indentations (just like in the movie) to the belt!. The figure also sports some kind of texture on the suit for the most part which imitates the sheen from the real movie cap. Not only that you also get another head and with a pair of interchangeable hands with and open hand in a "chop" position and one pointing. I really like the pointing one. That's the one I'm using right now to display. Paint job is spot on. Color matches and I dig the blue shield (though in the movie I believe he uses the red, white and blue one) Also looking closely at the blue shield you can see the little bolt heads at the end of the star tips. Nice detailing. Might get a few runs here and there of paint, but that's expected. The other head does resemble Chris Evans somewhat, but I wish the blue in his eyes stood out more. I did not notice any shading on this figure. Some people like it others hate it, but honestly I think leaving it without shading works because people can just do this themselves later to their liking.Articulation and balanceSports 4 points on the arms (hand moves back and forth and swivels, elbows move back and forth upper arms swivel and shoulder rotates and moves back and forth)Head is on a ball joint that rotates and moves up and down which is just plain awesome (why didn't hasbro do this any sooner?)Ab cruchrotates at hips (I think...might need to get back to you latter.)upper legs rotate and move back forth side to side, double jointed knees, thigh swivels and rocker ankles.Overall very good articulation. Balance is good as well. Unlike the Black Widow he will not have hard time standing.Extra and closing thoughtsComes with BAF Mandroid right leg I believe. Fits right in. Looks like the iron monger baf legs might also work with the Mandroid torso, though I have not tried it. Also comes with interchangeable hands and another head. Both fit in easily, but if you want to use this shield, you will need to use the open hand chop hand to put his arm through this shields straps. Reason being it uses the similar WWII shield with the straps and the fisted hand does not go through. I didn't want to force it and possibly damage it so I just used the hand chop. Other than that overall this figure is a 4.75 out of 5. I really like it and looks great next to the other movie inspired figures. Definitely pick this one up. I think I might need to pick up an extra one for a boxed collection and at 3 per case it shouldn't be difficult to find. Recommended.
