Like so many Americans, celebrity chefs also face the strain of balancing a good diet with a busy lifestyle. Confession: I am not a "cook," (I make the simplest meals for myself and my family), I don't watch cooking shows on TV, and I don't know who most of the famous chefs in the book are. It doesn't matter: their thinking about food, including what to eat, when to eat it, and how to eat in general are really fantastic. It's like getting good philosophy on food and eating from people who've spent decades thinking about such things. Most of the tips are easy to implement, natural and aren't about deprivation. The writing is fresh and fun, you can pick it up anywhere and have a "snack-size" bite of information, and you really don't need to be a "foodie" to enjoy it. Totally recommend!
