The bed posts on both sides of headboard were damaged. You can see clearly where they tried to fill the damaged area with putty that did not match the wood. They did not even try to smooth the patch to match the contour and shape of the post. It really looks bad as you can see in the pictures. Also one post was loose, it looks like the glue had dried out and was definitely not holding. This must have left Star Furniture this way as the packaging showed no signs of damage.I wrote a review and Cymax sent me an e-mail right awayMessage from seller Cymax:My name is Travis. K. I received a second call from Travis, he explained that Star Furniture of America would not take it back so Cymax (the Co. that sold it on Amazon) was issuing a full refund. The refund was credited to my account while I was on the phone with Travis. Cymax went above and beyond to resolve this. Their Customer service was outstanding.I still would not recommend Star Furniture of America they did not stand behind their product I would however highly recommend purchasing from Cymax through Amazon as they really mean it when they state they want their customers to always feel comfortable with their purchases through their store.
