I bought this to retap the mounting holes in my Spyderco Dice EDC for a standard thread screw for a deep-carry clip. The screws that come with the Dice are too short and have a non-standard thread. Even on the titanium liner this tiny tap did an admirable job on all 3 holes.I did it by hand taking my time and every 1 1/2 turns reversed direction for 3/4 turn then went 1 1/2 turns deeper until the liner was fully tapped.I can recommend this tap and will buy a Drill America tap again if i should find I need a size I don't already have on hand.
