Whitefish Bay (Images of America) - Historical Book About Wisconsin's Lakefront Community | Perfect for History Buffs & Local Residents

This is a great collection of old photos for those interested in the history of Whitefish Bay. The book is divided into sections, with brief text followed by the many, many photos. Having grown up in WFB but now living in Texas, I was happy to find a book about my hometown. I spent a lot of time looking at the photos and trying to visualize what those places look like now. The writing is not always as strong as it could be, and I would have liked more photos from the '40s to the present instead of the emphasis on earlier years (that's a very individual preference, and others may not agree) -- but all in all, it is a fun and solid collection. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a copy for my sister.
