This is meant to grind coffee beans. That's not what I used it for. I used it to make eggshell powder out of cleaned and dried eggshells, to add to the soft food I was feeding my ferret to help him get accustomed to chewing bones. Now, I'm glad to say, he eats whole mice and quails without issue and even enjoys a whole raw eggshell from time to time. I will say that this product worked exactly as I needed it to, so if you need to grind up some cleaned and dried eggshells into a fine powder to add to a meat mixture for your pet ferret, I'd strongly recommend it.
